Our Capabilities

DYE LAB
Our automated dispensing system is sophisticated enough
to accurately weigh minute amounts of dye for dyeing
10 gram fabric samples. This system, combined with a
spectrophotometer and computerized equipment, aids us
in accurately determining dye formulas for custom colors
in a minimal amount of time.
SCOURING
Two Kusters scouring ranges remove size and yarn finishes;
both are equiped with steamer units to better bulk yarn and
improve quality.
DYEING DEPARTMENT
Thirty dye machines with the capability of dyeing lightweight
fabrics (2-3 oz./ lin. yd) up to heavy weight fabrics
( 18-20 oz. / lin. yd) Finished widths from 45" to 73" (114
to 185 Centimeters)
FINISHING DEPARTMENT
The latest equipment provides a variety of finishing options
from tire belting to window sheers and can provided
sueding, stain release, water repellent, fabric stiffening,
anti-microbial and flame resistant finishing.
INSPECTION and PUT UP
We are equipped to handle from 50 to 3,000 yard rolls
with 100% inspection.
SAMPLE MACHINES
3-100 yard sample dyeing machines are additionally
available for development purposes.

 

Bloomsburg's dyeing facility, located in Monroe, NC, is a world-class dye house,
specializing in dyeing textured and spun polyester fabrics and is exceedingly capable
of handling most of the varying degree of fabrics produced in our Bloomsburg,
PA, weaving plant. This is a thoroughly modern facility with computer-controlled,
state of the art jet-dyeing machines capable of offering shade consistency
which exceeds the requirements of many of our demanding markets.



The dye machines are controlled by a computer system which allows for consistent quality dyeing.
When used in conjunction with our Vanwyk automated chemical and dye weighing and dispersing
system, even greater dye control and continuity of product is achieved.

Bloomsburg's latest equipment provides a variety of finishing options.
Fabrics can be sheared or sueded. Chemicals for water repellency,
soil and stain release, antimicrobial and added flame resistance
can be added as an exhaust or pad-on treatment.
